The first step in becoming a SmartBooks client and outsourcing your bookkeeping, accounting, HR or payroll management is to set up a time for us to connect with you by phone or video conference. We’ll do a quick screening to make sure we’re a good fit for each other and be happy to answer any questions you have about SmartBooks service plans or how we work.

- What Happens Next: the Needs Assessment
Once we’re both confident we have a fit, we’ll do a deep dive on your business’s specific needs. The SmartBooks Base-Plus pricing model allows us to collaboratively design a service engagement that does exactly what you need, without your overpaying for services that aren’t critical to your success.
- Statement of Work Proposal & Onboarding
After the Needs Assessment is complete, our team will prepare a Statement of Work outlining our recommendations for a service plan to address your needs, and then we’ll be ready to begin onboarding and implementation!
